Founder (Retired)
Robert Edward Evancik
Started the company in 1987 from a garage and an old Chevy Astro van. Retired in 2012.
R.E.E. Mechanical was started from a garage and an old Chevy Astro van by Robert Edward Evancik, a second-generation tradesman who grew up in New Jersey. Looking to better his life, Robert attended HVAC trade school in 1975, where he excelled as a union journeyman with Delta Engineering servicing commercial and industrial equipment.
By 1985 he had decided his family's future lay west, in California. After building his home from the ground up in Temecula, he started his own HVAC company — located between Los Angeles and San Diego. As his sons grew older they showed interest in the trade and joined the company after high school; groomed by their father, they mastered their skills in the field and transitioned into office roles to help grow R.E.E. Mechanical Inc. into what it is today. Robert retired in 2012, and his legacy of safety, accountability, balance, and respect lives on in the next generation.
